Global Initiatives

The Department of Global Initiatives acts as a bridge between the Corpistas and the world beyond, encouraging the students, teachers and administrative staff in our community to reach across borders and thus  giving the university a key role at a local, national and international level. This process extends continual and quality development opportunities for the Corpas, while also applying knowledge to contribute to sustainable development processes and quality of life improvements.

The Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas asserts its commitment to strengthening and growing itself from within through the international, symbiotic relationships it has fostered with relevant academic, scientific and socio-cultural institutions and stakeholders, all in pursuit of generating and transmitting knowledge while driving positive social impacts.

We look to put the Corpas on a global stage and, in this way, encourage the world back into our university.

Common Questions

Corpista Students

If you wish to participate in any of our international mobility programs, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be an enrolled student, currently studying at the Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas
  • Have an minimum average grade of 3.5
  • Not have any outstanding academic or disciplinary proceedings
  • Fill out the inscription form for access to our international mobility opportunities

Depending on the program to which you are applying, there may be additional requirements.

When taking part in your international mobility, you must cover all costs associated with airfares, basic living costs and public transport use. In most cases, and as long as we have a collaboration agreement in place, you will not pay tuition fees; these will be paid at the Corpas.

Depending on the requirements of each individual program and destination, it is possible that having a minimum level of knowledge of the language in which class/activities will be carried out may be necessary.

Most of the international cooperation project opportunities available are directed by the Academic Schools, investigation projects and research groups. The best way to participate in these is to have a good academic record and be involved with the various different extracurricular activities on offer at the Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas.

The Department of Global Initiatives is constantly making available different opportunities for internationalization for the entire Corpista community through this website, via email and via our social media.

It is necessary to have a high level of Spanish in order to be able to participate in all of the proposed activities within the academic program that the international visitor will follow.
